English name: Trifluoromethyliodide
English synonym: PERFLUOROMETHYLIODIDE; CF3I; CIF 3; FIC-1311; Freen13ChemicalbookI1; Freeon13t1; Iodotrifluoromethane (trifluoromethyliodide); Methane, trifluoroiodo-
Trifluoroiodomethane CF3I, as a new environmentally friendly insulating gas, is used as a substitute for SF6 in the power industry. It has good environmental characteristics and superior insulation strength to SF6. The breakdown decomposition of CF3I will not produce toxic products and will not have a negative impact on insulation strength under certain conditions.
Product Usage:
Trifluoroiodomethane, as a fire extinguishing agent, has the characteristics of high fire extinguishing efficiency, good safety performance, and no traces left after extinguishing, making it the preferred alternative variety for Halon 1301; As a refrigerant, it has the characteristics of good oil solubility and material compatibility, and is one of the ideal alternative varieties of traditional Freon refrigerants. As a precision instrument cleaning agent, it thoroughly cleans oil stains without the need for surface activity, and gas circulation does not produce secondary pollution. Medical grade trifluoroiodomethane is widely used in anti-cancer drugs (ABT263, ABT737). High purity trifluoroiodomethane can be used for semiconductor etching, and compared with the same etching gases CF4 and C4F6, it has higher selectivity and high aspect ratio during etching.
Usage: Used as a fire extinguishing agent, refrigerant, foaming agent, and also an important fluorinated intermediate and semiconductor etching
Packaging and storage:
Trifluoroiodomethane is filled into seamless steel cylinders with capacities of 1L, 4L, 40L, 47L, and 100L, respectively. The specific packaging specifications can be customized and changed according to user needs. Store trifluoroiodomethane in a dry, cool, well ventilated warehouse, away from sparks and heat sources. The temperature of the warehouse should not exceed 30 ℃, and the storage area should be equipped with emergency response equipment for leaks.
